GA Magyarország Kft. has tendered successfully in the Economic Development Operational Programme with a complex technological development project, in the course of which our current equipment stock and service portfolio will be extended by innovative equipment and resources.
The development project is co-financed by the European Union, implemented within the framework of the New Hungary Development Plan. The tender was announced on 15 February 2008 in the framework of the Economic Development Operational Programme, titled ‘Complex corporate technological development in disadvantaged subregions (code: GOP-2.1.1-08/C)’. Our application was submitted under the title ‘Complex technological development of GA Magyarország Kft.’. The tender covered five areas, such as asset acquisition, introduction of an occupational health protection and safety management system (according to MEBIR MSz 28001), human resource development, the marketing activities of the developments and expert consultancy to integrate new technologies. As for asset acquisition, alone in Hungary, GA Magyarország Kft. possesses the most advanced Centrix 3x80 kV cable measuring and cable defect locating device; until 2010, the completion of the project’s implementation the OWTS HV 150 high voltage cable diagnosing equipment, likewise unparalleled in Hungary, will also be procured, along with a Palfinger PK 44002F HPLS Performance loading crane, a Palfinger PK 23002C Performance loading crane, ZECK transmission line construction equipment and the complex technology of live medium voltage (KÖF FAM) works (VersaliftVO-350 MHI type Insulated Overcenter Material Handler). The Republic of Hungary as the financer and the European Regional Development Fund as the cofinancer ensure 40% subsidy for the innovative development project. The beneficiary of the tender was GA Magyarország Kft. (2045 Törökbálint, Tópark u.1/a) and the place of implementation was the Salgótarján Construction Management Division of GA Magyarország Kft. (3100 Salgótarján, Rákóczi út 54.) In the course of administrating the project, the Hungarian Economic Development Centre Ltd. was the intermediary organisation.
