Amper trade fair and exhibition

At the international fair, a host of companies exhibited from the fields of the power industry, control engineering and measurement technology. Our company was invited to participate at the trade fair by JM-monáže, s.r.o., where we exhibited one of the modules of our compact high voltage cable diagnostics measuring equipment, the OWTS HV 150 - currently the most advanced such instrument available. Czech and Slovakian electricity providers and electrical design bureaus and contractors showed great interest at the exhibition for the equipment and the services it provided (damped AC voltage (DAC) test, diagnostics, etc.). The exhibition allowed us to discuss issues of the trade with our existing and future partners, to introduce our new measuring technology and respond to emerging questions, as well as seek future cooperation possibilities. One peculiar feature of the exhibition was the exhibition “up close” of the electrically-driven cars to be introduced in the near future. Electric cars growing common is not only a significant challenge for the automobile industry, but the electricity industry as well, as the presence of this new consumer segment requires the implementation of a new infrastructure, namely the construction of quick charging stations. The operation of electric charging stations further increases electricity requirement, which requires besides increasing the built-in power station capacities the enlargement of the electricity grid and the construction of new feed-in points. The technically, economically, aesthetically and last but not least environmentally most efficient form of grid connection of the charging stations, the overwhelming majority of which must be built in metropolitan areas, is a high voltage cable grid.
